Three Crowns Milk Empowers Mothers at the 2026 August Meeting
Three Crowns Milk, one of Nigeria’s trusted dairy brands from FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, celebrated thousands of mothers at the 2026 August Meeting in Owerri, Abakaliki, and Enugu reaffirming its commitment to supporting women’s well-being and promoting healthier living.
Recognised as one of the largest and most significant cultural gatherings in South-Eastern Nigeria, the August Meeting brings together women from different communities and across the world for a unique homecoming centred on community development, engagement, networking, empowerment, and social interaction. This year’s event once again provided a platform for women to connect, celebrate shared values, and strengthen community bonds.
Living up to its promise of being the brand that truly cares for mums, Three Crowns Milk delivered an engaging and memorable experience through interactive brand activities, dairy category education, exciting games, product sampling, and rewarding moments that celebrated the invaluable contributions of mothers to their families and communities.
A key highlight of the celebration was Three Crowns Milk’s empowerment initiative, which equipped women with practical knowledge across health, finance, and agriculture. As part of the initiative, 30 underserved women received equipment to kick-start or strengthen their businesses, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to supporting mothers beyond nutrition and creating opportunities for them to thrive.
The activation also encouraged healthier lifestyles while creating meaningful connections between Three Crowns Milk and women in the community.
Held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Umuorii Field beside Umuorii Women Hall, St. Michael Catholic Church, Umuorii, Owerri, the event welcomed women from ten communities: Umualum, Umuorii, Umuoba, Okwu, Owalla, Owaelu, Umunahu, Orji, Amakohia, and Akwakuma.
The celebration was graced by the First Lady of Imo State, Her Excellency, Barrister Chioma Uzodimma, whose presence underscored the importance of supporting women and strengthening communities. Celebrated actress and influencer Ebelle Okaro also added excitement to the event with her appearance.
